Q: Are dogs allowed at the park?

A: Yes dogs on leads are allowed at the park no problem but just not in the Splash Park area.

Q: Is there an entrance fee to the park?

A: No it’s free to enter Happy Mount Park. Some of the attractions within the park charge a fee which can be seen on our attraction pages.

Q: What events are held at Happy Mount Park?

A: There are a range of exciting and fun events held throughout the year at Happy Mount Park. A list of events can be seen here.

Q: Are picnics allowed at the Park?

A: Sure picnics are allowed in most areas of the park, we just ask that you dispose of your rubbish using the bins provided.

Q: Can we buy food at Happy Mount Park?

A: Of course you can there is the fantastic Café Rastelle who offer a range of great food from snacks to hearty classics all the family will love from baby to Granny. Also the Ice cream vans offer traditional Italian Ice Cream just as you remember it.

Q: Are push bikes allowed in the park?

A: Only if pushed as no riding of bikes are allowed in the Park.

Q: Can we hire the park for private functions?

A: You can’t hire the park, however, Café Rastelli is available for hire, use the contact form here for more details.

Q: Is there parking at the park?

A: There is parking on the promenade and a pay and display car park in front of Morecambe Golf Course next door.

Q: Can we fly kites at the park?

A: You certainly can.

Q: What time does the park open and close?

A: The opening and closing times vary throughout the year as the park opens at dawn and closes at dusk.

Q: Are disabled scooters allowed in the Park?

A: Yes disability scooters are allowed.

Q: Does the park have facilities for disabled visitors?

A: There is limited disabled parking at the rear of the park with easy access into the park and disabled toilet facilities are available too.
